Forbes Chambers

The refurbishment of Forbes Chambers brought together careful construction planning, detailed craftsmanship and premium finishes across 1,600 sqm of occupied workspace.

With a project value of approximately $700,000 and a 5-month delivery programme, IPG carefully staged the works around the daily operations of the Chambers, minimising disruption to barristers and their clients while maintaining momentum on site.

A key feature of the project was the level of detail throughout, including bespoke joinery, carefully selected fixtures and finishes, and premium furniture. Close management of procurement and longer-lead items was essential to maintaining the programme and achieving the quality expected of the finished space.

Working collaboratively with the client throughout the project allowed the team to deliver a considered and highly detailed refurbishment within a complex live environment.
